Kane is very clean and sanitary. He prefers to stay away from sick people, not to be mean, but because he has important things in his life and he cannot afford to get sick for too long. He stays in his own home 90% of the time... His parents have to force him out if they want him to pick up groceries or something like that. When indoors, he stays on the internet or plays games or watches his little friend, Afia. Most of his time is spent with her. [See history]

If you manage to get him talking, he is easily impressed by simple talents and not that unpleasant. Maybe. He's a good listener and will remember little quirks about people, especially things he should be careful about. Kane is a little paranoid and easily spooked by certain creepy things. Haunted houses and dolls are the bane of his existence. Good luck getting him outside during Halloween.

When it comes to his fortune telling, he doesn't take it too seriously anymore. He often messes with people, telling them ridiculous predictions just to see if they would believe it. He doesn't really like doing this... All Kane wants is to be respected and believed in, really. He should probably stop telling lies. It's a phase in his sad teenage life where all he can think about is a terrible thing that happened three years ago, so he doesn't try as hard. He'll get over it. At least he never stopped telling fortunes. He might be really good at that someday.

FIGHTING STYLE : He's not a hunter, so he has none. Fighting him would be pretty one-sided. He doesn't look like it but he's a huge wuss.

HISTORY : Kane is a real mess of nationalities... His birth parents were Japanese and French, and his adoptive parents were Greek and English. Then there's probably other nationalities that he doesn't even know about. He was born in France and then given up for adoption as a baby for unknown reasons, so he doesn't remember his old parents. Tasia and Cassandra adopted him traveled around for 14 years before settling in Bless City. (Not before they adopted another son, Ian, when he was 10. Ian and Kane are 4 years apart.)
Kane was always more interested in Asian culture and knows a surprising amount of Japanese. English is his first language, though, since that was the language spoken in his home. He basically had his own little 'weeaboo' phase. He's over it now. Don't judge. (jk judge its hilarious) (hilarious until u think about his birth parents)
When in Bless City, Kane only went to school when he felt like it. Which was really.... not often. His main talent is fortune telling, which is a bit sad because he's not even good at that. His predictions have a 20% accuracy level at best. Not that anyone took him seriously anyways because he was a young teenager.

When he was 16 he made the worst prediction of his life, and regrets it to this day.

His parents had a lot of close friends... close friends that would talk to Kane and Ian often. A certain couple that the family knew was due to have a baby in a few months. Everyone was very excited, everyone except Kane, who had a terrible feeling about that unborn baby from the start. He told the expecting parents the prediction that had been burning in his mind. That baby was to be born an Albino, and would not live past age 8. The parents laughed and thought this was ridiculous... There was no way to predict if a lynx would be born Albino or not! They were so rare, it was nearly impossible. Not to mention how specific that prediction was, when the more specific Kane gets, the less likely his predictions are to become true. So he was ignored for a good number of months until the baby was born.

But he was correct.

The tiny baby girl was taken immediately into care by doctors, who explained the situation to her parents. The newborn was Albino, and would need strict care if she were to survive at least 10 years of her life. (Though she was not expected to survive even that long) And this spooked all of Kane's family and friends. Was it just lucky that he knew this would happen? He didn't consider it luck at all, since the young lynx felt terrible about his fortune telling ever since that day. He could have just stayed quiet, but no, he had to predict a young girls death before she was even born. For a long while he thought that it was entirely his fault that she was born Albino, so he offered to babysit her often and befriended the girl as she grew up. Her name is Afia, and at present day, she is 3 years old. She's a very happy child, but only trusts a few people in her life. Her parents, grandparents, and Kane. Her eyesight is still as poor as ever and only growing worse, as is her immune system. Kane became a near-hermit because going outside would risk him getting sick, and if he spent so much time with Afia, then he would risk getting her sick, too. So he became a bit anti-social. Afia will die when Kane turns 24, and he never forgets about that fact. It was the one prediction that was so tragically true.

- He still lives with his two adopted mothers and his little brother. He's a freeloader with no real job. He makes a little money by telling fortunes... but not much.

- There's nothing wrong with the eye he covers up with his bangs. He just thinks it makes him look cool, along with that dumb ponytail.

- He usually dresses up casually unless he's "on the job" but he always wears those same accessories}
